North Korea readying launch of nation’s 1st spy satellite: report

North Korea’s space program appears to be moving forward.

North Korean state media announced Wednesday (April 19) that the country has built its first spy satellite and is preparing it for launch. According to a report by the Associated Press (opens in new tab), North Korean leader Kim Jong Un hailed the development as an important milestone for the country’s nuclear missile program.
